Rifle Deer Hunts
Rifle hunting with West River Whitetails will be the most exciting deer hunt you have been on. Usually the week prior to rifle, all of the remaining agriculture has been harvested up top and the deer are in peak rut! We have a very unique property that provides many different types of hunting. During the rifle season, tree stand hunting, hill hunting, and ground blind hunting are very popular.
The SD West River rifle season runs for 15 days, and we break this into two 5 day hunts and one 4 day hunt. The Ranch is also split into two 4,000 acre hunting areas during this time. We max out each hunting area at 6 hunters per-period. There is also the option to take both areas for you and your group to limit the number of people hunting.
